So after reading chapter 4 it had me like WOW i never knew that. well for the most part I knew basic stuff about hearing, the eyes, taste and touch but I never realize how different people or even animals for that matter use all our are senses. I really liked reading that chapter. I found it so cool on how your hearing or even your eyes took the stuff we see and makes sense of it in our brains. I know this is going to sound funny but I never looked at any of the 5 sense as anything more then something we just did. The more and more i hear in the psychology book it how me thinking a little bit different and looking at things differently as well. I had a good think making the Children's book on the Auditory system until i had this mass problem trying to email the project because the file size was to large and the Broward email wouldn't take it :/... so that was just a little ANNOYING.
So when it comes to our 5 different senses I really liked learning about hearing and our eyes. Reason for this is because I have bad vision and my younger cousin is hearing impaired since he was born. So I really wanted to understand as much as I could because of these two things which impact my life everyday. When it comes to me cousin and being deaf I totally took a different look on the whole thing reason for that was because with my project I had to ding into it a lot to make a children's book to example to them how the whole hearing process works. So after reading and then finishing my project for class I totally understand how hard it is for my cousin with everyday life even though he has hearing aids which kind of help with his hearing it doesn't really help 100%. My aunt also sent him to a special school from children who are hearing impaired and now I know why he doesn't like to talk much to people he doesn't know and why he is always looking at people's lips when they speak. I never asked him why he did that or how it was to be deaf because of the fact he has been like this he's whole life and I never though to ask him questions about it until this chapter and project.
